CHICAGO—The Illinois Institute of Technology men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted two clinics for Chicago Public Schools at the Ekco Pool over winter break.
The Scarlet Hawks invited teams from the CPS to join them in training inside and outside of the pool. The swimmers worked together on stroke technique and discussed skills/strategies that can be utilized in every aspect of the sport.
The Scarlet Hawks have stayed busy despite a month away from competitive swimming. In addition to community service, the Scarlet Hawks are currently on their annual training trip in Miami, Florida in preparation for the stretch run of 2019-20. The men and women will return to action on Saturday, January 11 at home against North Central College (Ill.) for a 1:00 p.m. start.
