Before joining the Hawks in the summer of 2008 Kay represented Thomas Edison High school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During her time with the team she was named rookie of the year in her freshman year (2005), offensive MVP in 2007 and was her team's captain in her senior year (2008). As well as playing High School soccer Kay also represented Hurricane Futbol Club '89 where she won the state championship for 9 straight years and reached the region III finals in 2004 and 2005. For her fine play in her final year in High School Kay was named to the 2008 All State Oklahoma East Team.

Playing Style

Kay is a fantastic attacking midfield player who can create goals as well as score them. Like her sister she possesses great technical ability and her vision and range of passing makes her one of the Hawks most creative and dangerous players.
