C.J. Seestadt
Assistant Coach
C.J. Seestadt joined the Scarlet Hawks as an assistant coach in 2004. A native of Chicago, C.J. grew up playing for Traveling Soccer Clubs
and in the Chicago Metro League as a youth. After graduating from
Bolingbrook High School, C.J. entered the US Naval Air Force and
played while serving in the military. During this time, C.J. was
signed to play professionally in Finland by Finnish club FC Tampere. He
has also played in Scotland and for his university club team at
Southern Illinois University, graduating in 1995 with his BA. C.J. has
stayed involved in the game by playing and coaching in numerous leagues
around the Chicagoland area. A coach with a vast knowledge of goal
keeping and defense, C.J. has played an integral role in ranking the
Hawks consistently as one of the top defensive powers in the CCAC. C.J.
also designs fitness centers and spas for luxury hotels worldwide, is a
father of 3 and an active member of the German-American community in
Chicago.
