Before Illinois Tech

Back home in Australia, Jake played in 3 consecutive cup finals for his club side, Cumberland United, who he captained during their 2005 cup final success. Jake also played a vital part for his high school team, who he helped dominate the NDJSA (Norlunga and District Junior Soccer Association) for 3 seasons. During his time at school Jake also helped his team win the league and cup double, not one but twice.

Playing Style

Jake is an extremely athletic, strong central midfield player who provides a real presence for his team in the middle of the park. He has a good touch on the ball and he rarely loses his team possession. Due to his fantastic aerial ability, Jake is a constant threat from all set pieces in and around the box.
