In Brazil, Thiago played both indoor and outdoor football with his club and school. He represented his High School team for a 7 year period and played for the under 15's at the Minas Gerais State Tournament.
In his freshman and sophomore years of collage Thiago played with Feather River College who he helped to win the conference championship in consecutive seasons. In 2007 he was named to the Bay Valley All Conference First Team.

Style
Thiago is skilful, technically gifted player with excellent close control and imagination on the ball. He plays in an attacking midfield position and is an extremely creative player who can assist and score goals from the midfield area.
