Before Illinois Tech

In 2006 Aaran attended university at UCD in Ireland where he represented his university team whilst also playing for League of Ireland side, Shelbourne FC. His performances through out the season gained Aaran recognition on both fronts, as he was named to the 2006 Irish University team as well as to the Eircom League of Ireland U21 squad.

In 2007 Aaran moved out to America where he attended university at Webber International (NAIA) in Florida. In his first season in the States Aaran helped his team reach the Regional tournament where they were unfortunate to be eliminated in the first round by Hardeeville, S.C.

Playing Style

Aaran is a quick, left sided, defensive player who likes to attack out of defense. He is a technically gifted defender who provides his team with an attacking option down the left hand side of the park. Aaran's most comfortable position is at Left Back but he is also confident playing further forward on the left hand side of midfield.
