Kenny arrives from Alaska with great club experience. He has competed at a very high level on the club scene competing in the Nomads tournament to name one. Recently his team traveled to Hawaii for the regional club tournament. Playing in the center of midfield he has a calm attitude and is composed on the ball. Kenny is a great prospect for the future of Illinois Tech soccer.
 
Rob Ritchie-Smith
[Men's Soccer] - From Cottingham, England
Rob comes to Illinois Tech with a wealth of experience which will be invaluable to the team. Having spent a long period as a youngster in the youth set up at Leicester FC he moved on to the amateur leagues in England while continuing his education. Playing wide midfield predominantly, Rob can play just as well on either side of midfield and with his accuracy and range of passing will be a major threat in the up coming season. Rob will major in business at Illinois Tech.
 
Sam Winstanley

Sam comes to Illinois Tech from a strong playing background. He previously played in the youth system at Stafford Rangers and spent time training at Stoke City FC Academy of the English Premier League. Sam is an intelligent goalkeeper who is very organized and communicates well with the back line. Sam is a good student who will be studying business at Illinois Tech.

In Brazil, Thiago played both indoor and outdoor football with his club and school. He represented his High School team for a 7 year period and played for the under 15's at the Minas Gerais State Tournament.

In his freshman and sophomore years of collage Thiago played with Feather River College who he helped to win the conference championship in consecutive seasons. In 2007 he was named to the Bay Valley All Conference First Team.     

Playing Style
