A senior from Greendale Wisconsin, Madeline has distinguished herself as one of IIT's all time best runners. Currently she holds the title of the fourth fastest women in IIT XC history (21 years), and the second fastest women on the track for the 3 kilometer and 5 kilometer events. Throughout her collegiate career Maddy has been an anchor among the varsity ladies always being within our top five scorers. Her best time came in 2009 at Lake Forest Invitational where she placed second overall with a time of 19:22. For her efforts Ms. Jensen has been recognized as the IIT Athletic Departments Female Freshman of the Year (2008), IIT ladies XC Best New Athlete of the Year (2008), The Schommer-Weismann award in 2010, and twice named CCAC All-Conference. Ms. Jensen was also a member of IIT's inaugural women's outdoor track and field team in 2010, and as a senior will continue to lead the way as IIT adds varsity indoor track this year (2011-2012).
Academically, Maddy is studying chemical engineering, boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA and has been recognized as a Scholar Athlete nationally by the NAIA, and within our conference ever year.
