Rocco Mossuto brings a lot of experience with him into his first year of coaching at Illinois Tech. Mossuto spent his college playing career at rival St. Xavier where he both pitched and played first base. Mossuto spent his last 2 years coaching at Dominican University where he worked with Mike Eiffel (drafted by the San Francisco Giants). Rocco's experience as both a player and coach will most definitely make an immediate impact on the Scarlet Hawk Baseball program. Rocco will spend most of his time with the pitching staff and defense. Mossuto currently resides in Crestwood.

IIT marks Coach Thomas' third coaching stop at the collegiate level. After 3 years as an asst. at Prairie State, and 1 year at Robert Morris, Thomas hopes to add some experience to the staff. He brings with him a vast knowledge of infield play, which will help strengthen the Scarlet Hawks defensively. Coach "Wendell" is a 1995 graduate of Northern Illinois University, where he lettered in football and baseball. Thomas is a firefighter for the City of Chicago Heights. He has one daughter, Larrissa, and lives with his wife Kristal in Chicago Heights.
