The Lady Hawks winning streak comes to an end as they fall to Purdue University Calumet 64-83

Hammond, IN. - After having won their previous two games, against Lincoln Christian College and Taylor Fort Wayne, the Women's basketball team entered Saturday's game against Purdue University Calumet looking to extend their winning streak to three consecutive games.

Unfortunately for the Lady Hawks Purdue proved to be too strong on the day with the home team running out 83-64 winners.

Jackie Puschkar had another stand out performance for the Hawks with the senior scoring a team high 16 points. Five Purdue players hit double figures for points with LaKeisha Hurst notching a game high 18 points to lead her side to victory.

With the loss the Lady Hawks season record now drops to 3-8 overall with the team's next game coming on the 30th December against Clarke College at the Clarke College Tournament in Iowa.
