Chicago, IL – The Illinois Tech men's basketball team hosted Victory University for their final game of the 2013-14 season. With a packed gym at Keating Sports Center, the fans couldn't complain about the action-filled game they had just witnessed. Unfortunately, the Scarlet Hawks didn't find the win in the end as they fell 99-60.
Samuel Rarick led all scorers on the afternoon and proved to be an issue for the visiting Eagles. The big man dominated the paint on both ends putting up 25 points and grabbing nine total rebounds and two blocks. The Eagles got off to a fast start in the first half building a quick 13-point lead. Clint Bhola's dunk towards the end of the first half really sparked the gym and the Hawks continued to fight throughout the rest of this contest. Anders Bybjerg added 14 points and six rebounds and Anthony Loss contributed 12 points in the effort.
Josh Buck and Charles Rivas were honored before the game as the lone seniors on the team and each contributed significant minutes in the effort.
