Andrea Zuniga, the team's freshman backstroker, was a last minute scratch from the meet due to a foot injury.  With a key member of the team out, the remainder of the women knew they would need to step up and swim well to be competitive.  Monica Samelson won the 1650 for her first victory of the year, while Melanie Koto added to her collection of victories this season by touching first in the 200 Free.  Nicolle Mallinger gave the team its next win in the 200 Fly, while Morgan Curran touched first in the 200 Breaststroke for the final win of the day.

The team did collect 5 new NAIA National Meet cuts and will look to add more next week.  The Lady Scarlet Hawks will travel to Dobuque, IA for a meet with Loras College.
