The Hawks put on an exciting goal fest for the Homecoming fans as they crush St Francis 11-0

Chicago, IL - The Homecoming crowd that turned up for both the Men's and Women's Soccer games on Saturday were treated to an exciting afternoon of high scoring action, as both teams put up big scores to record equally impressive victories over St Francis University. The Women's team led the way with a comfortable 8-0 win before the Men's team grabbed the baton, thumping their opposition 11-0 in a commanding performance.

The Hawks ran up the score board in the first half with goals coming from Lichaj (4), Dias (3), Blakely, Port, and Rojo to leave the score 10-0 to the home team going into the half time break.

The team were sent out in the second period with  more of an emphasis on keeping possession of the ball than to adding to their already commanding lead. An 11th goal was added however in the 77th minute when Thiago Jardim thundered a left footed shot into the roof of the net to complete the scoring at 11-0.

With the win the Hawks now move onto a 6-3-0 record with a 2-0 conference record.

The sides next came will be this coming Wednesday when they will host Robert Morris University in a 7pm kick off at the 'Hawks Nest'.
