The Hawks brush past Trinity Christian with a comfortable 4-0 home win

Chicago, IL - After the disappointment of Saturday's home forfeit loss, in which an administration mix up cost the Hawks an automatic 1-0 loss, the team returned to action again on Tuesday night with a comfortable conference opening win against Trinity Christian College.

The game started at a fast pace and the opening goal came as early as the 7^th minute when Graeme Port raced onto a Diego Dias flick on, before slotting the ball past the outrushing Prins in the Trinity goal.

The goal was quickly added to when in the 21^st minute the provider of the first Diego Dias headed a Rob Ritchie Smith cross into the net to make it 2-0.

Things then went from bad to worse for the visiting team when in the 26^th minute Graeme Port converted a penalty kick to make the score 3-0, which was how the score would remain going into the half time break.

The second half was a tighter affair but the Hawks finished off the scoring in the 86^th minute when Andrew Lichaj headed home another Rob Ritchie Smith cross to make the full time score 4-0 in the home teams favour.

The Hawks will be in action again this coming Saturday when they will host Saint Francis University for the teams Homecoming game.
