Palos Heights, IL - After last Wednesday nights moral boosting, last gasp, home win over Olivet Nazarene, many believed the Men's Soccer team had finally turned the corner after a disappointing start to their CCAC title defense. Unfortunately this seems not to be the case as the Hawks again failed to maintain any sort of winning form as they fell to Trinity Christian on Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks dominated the first period of play and deservedly took the lead just seconds before the break; when Andrew Lichaj raced clear of the Trinity defense before he smashed the ball past Nathan VanderWoude in the home teams goal.

In the second period Trinity took the game to the Hawks and were rewarded on the hour mark when Koyah Bleah capitalized on a Hawks goalkeeping error to even the score at 1-1.

Both teams had chances to grab the decisive goal before Trinity snatched the game winner in the 84th minute, thanks to a Carlos Reyes strike.

With the loss the Hawks fall to a disappointing 3-3 conference record which leaves the team stranded in mid-table with just 4 games left to play.

The Hawks return to action this Tuesday in a must win away contest at Trinity International.
