JOLIET, IL - The Illinois Tech Women's Volleyball team (18-17, 7-3) took on Cardinal Strich University Friday afternoon in the first of three CCAC conference playoff games. The Hawks battled it out with Wolves, and were able to grab the win in a four game match (25-17, 26-24, 25-19, 25-15).

Senior outside hitter Melissa Cheviron (Fort Wayne, IN) led the team with 17 kills and 4 service aces. Freshman right-side hitter Stephanie Kossak (Columbiaville, MI) also added 11 kills. Senior libero Aubrey Vanderheyden (Rockford, IL) contributed 31 digs in the match as well.

The Hawks will play Trinity International University later that night for the second playoff game.
