








CHICAGO, IL - The Illinois Tech Women's Volleyball (13-16, 5-2) team took on Robert Morris College on Thursday for their "Dig Pink" match. The gym was decorated all pink and both teams showed their support to bring awareness to breast cancer. With the energy of the crowd, the Hawks were able to pull off a sweep of Robert Morris, taking the match in three (25-23, 25-21, 25-20).
Senior outside hitter Melissa Cheviron (Fort Wayne, IN) led the team with 14 kills while sophomore middle blocker Kayla Heller (Dixon, IL) chipped in 5 kills. Freshman setter Rebecca Bograd (Lemont, IL) also had 25 set assists for the Hawks.
The team will welcome Olivet Nazarene University to their gym next Tuesday for their next conference match.
