Deerfield, IL. - Lady Hawks were defeated 0-2 by Trinity International University on Wednesday.

The Hawks had a slow start to the game. Either team was able to take control and the ball was in the air for most of the half. IIT struggled and the game remained scoreless at half.

The Lady Hawks came out in the second half with a better attitude but got scored on early by TIU's Nikki Sigurdson. About ten minutes later, another goal was scored against the Hawks by Senior Karen Ibata, which was connected off of a corner kick by Jenny Schonewill. The Hawks battled and improved on their performance in the first half but were unable to get one in. The game ended in a 0-2 loss for the Hawks.

The Hawks play Saturday at 12pm vs. Judson University.
