Stepniewski Declared CCAC Pitcher of the Week

Only one week after James Dodgen won CCAC pitcher of the week, Junior Jesse Stepniewski (Skokie, IL) did the same. Stepniewski won the award for his performance throughout the week in three different games.

In the three games that Stepniewski appeared in, he did not give up a hit or walk. Stepniewski ended up throwing 5 perfect innings on the week. Of the 15 batters that he faced, Jesse struck out 7 of them. 4 of Stepniewski's strikeouts came in a 3 inning appearance last Saturday where he earned a victory against Trinity International. The efforts of Stepniewski helped the Scarlet Hawks to a 2-2 record on the week bringing the team to a 16-20 overall record and 11-10 in CCAC play.
