




Hawks Lose to #15 California Lutheran
THOUSAND OAKS, CA - The Men's Baseball Team continued their West Coast tour traveling to California Lutheran to take on the NCAA D3 #15 ranked Kingsmen. Despite accumulating 13 hits throughout the game, the Scarlet Hawks were only able to score 2 runs.
Offensively, Bill O'Toole (Evergreen Park, IL) led the way going 4 for 5 and scoring a run. Patrick O'Brien (Skokie, IL) started the game and went 2 1/3 innings giving up 4 earned runs with 1 strikeout. Sean Irish (St. Louis, MO) came in relief going 3 1/3 innings letting up 2 earned runs. Freshman Luis Montoya (Chicago, IL) finished the game going 2 innings without giving up a hit. The Hawks lost the game 10 - 2 and will finish up their California Trip tomorrow where they will take on Vanguard University at 2:30.
