Chicago, IL. - The regular season came to an end for the Women's Basketball team on Saturday afternoon as the 8th ranked team in the country, Saint Xavier, proved too strong for the Hawks in a 94-46 defeat.

The star performer on the day, for both teams, was undoubtedly Lisa Reed. The senior scored a game high and personal season high, 20 points, in the final game of her college career.

The Lady Hawks finished their regular season with a 10-20 overall record and a 1-9 CCAC record.

The Lady Hawks begin post season play this Tuesday against Indiana South Bend. The No. 8 seed Illinois Tech will host No. 3 Indiana South-Bend at 6 p.m. Central Standard Time in the CCAC quarter-final play-off.  The winner of the game would then head to Joliet, Ill. on Thursday night to take on St. Francis in the semi-final.
