






Hawks Fall to Eagles of Judson University
ELGIN, IL - The 7 game road trip brought the Scarlet Hawks to Elgin tonight where they battled the Eagles of Judson University.
After a grueling 1st half that involved Judson shooting 60% from 3 point range, the Hawks trailed by 11. The 2nd half was a different story though as the Scarlet Hawks quickly closed the gap and actually cut the lead to 3 points on 3 different occasions. Judson's Josh Edwards answered back finishing the game with 7 3 pointers finishing with 27 total points.
Illinois Tech had a well rounded attack with 5 players all in double digits. Atop the list was Rob Knapczyk (Justice, IL) with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kyle Corbin (Tipp City, OH) finished the game with 22 points and 3 steals. The Hawks came up just short in the high scoring affair losing 99 - 88. The Scarlet Hawks Men's Team can now look forward to a much needed 4 game home stand. Competition picks back up Thursday the 4th against Purdue University - North Central.
