Scarlet Hawks End Losing Streak!
CHICAGO, IL - The Scarlet Hawk Men's Basketball team got a much needed win tonight against East-West University. The Hawks had an offensive outburst tonight with 4 players scoring in double digits.
Efforts from Rob Knapczyk (Justice, IL) with 22 points and shooting 4 for 8 from behind the arc and T.J. Bevilacqua (Mineral Ridge, OH) who had 18 points with 10 rebounds led the Hawks to the 2 point victory. This was Bevilacqua's first double-double as a Scarlet Hawk.
At the half the Hawks led by 5. Able to fight off last second efforts by East-West, the team emerged victorious with a score of 78-76. The Hawks resume conference play Tuesday February 10th at Keating Sports Center against Olivet Nazarene.
