Men 8th, Women 9th after day 3 of the NAIA National Championships
With only four women in the entire meet, the Lady Scarlet Hawks have made their presence felt. Teresa Arribas lead the way today with a 4th place finish in the 100 Breaststroke. She was joined by Sarah Stone, Samantha Staley and Nicolle Mallinger on a pair of top 8 relays. Stone, Staley and Mallinger all were able to contribute in the individual scoring as well.
For the men's team, it was another day of hard work and fast swims. The men swam to a pair of 6th place relay swims. Andrew Mehr, Mark Callan, Brian Brady and Kyle Pinsonneault made up the 200 Free Relay, while Mehr and Pinsonneault were joined by Joe Muchna and Jay Park in the 400 Medley Relay. Carlos Ostolaza, Jay Park and Andrew Mehr all contributed with individual points on the day.
Saturday is the final day of the meet. Both teams will look to keep their top 10 places as there are plenty of swims yet to go.
