Scarlet Hawks Lose to Conference Opponent Titans

The Scarlet Hawks trailed the Titans at the half 42-27. The second half was a different story though as they were able to cut into the lead significantly outscoring IU South Bend 46-40.

Offensively the Hawks were led by Jr. Rob Knapczyk (Justice, IL) with 15 points and going 3 for 5 from 3 point range in his 35 minute performance. The Hawks shot 74% form the line, though were plagued by turnovers. #22 Tyler Leighton of IU South Bend led the Titans with 24 points in 34 minutes played. The Hawks will resume play Tuesday at Keating Sports Center against non-conference opponent Moody Bible Institute at 7:00.
