The Hawks fall to Indiana University-South Bend in a heartbreaking 52-59 loss

Chicago, IL. - After the disappointment of Saturday's run away 101-47 loss to Olivet Nazarene University the Women's basketball team turned in a far superior performance on Wednesday night against Indiana University-South Bend.

Unfortunately for the Hawks however this didn't prove to be enough as the visiting team just edged out the Chicago side in a game which was very much in the balance until the very final minute of the match.

The star performers for the Hawks on the night were Jessica Najarian, who recorded a joint game high 10 rebounds and 15 points, and Jackie Puschkar, who followed close behind with another 12 points of her own.

The loss now drops the Hawks overall season record to 7-11 and their CCAC conference record to 0-2.

The team will look to pick up their first conference victory of the season this coming Saturday when they will travel to face the University of Saint Francis.
